Knobs and hinges are solid brass.
Sink counter top is butcher block maple, finished with white oil.
Sink splash and window sill are solid bird's-eye maple.
Sink is mounted directly to maple counter top.
Hot and cold water lines emerge directly through splash.
Other counter tops are two-inch-thick walnut, finished with tung oil.
Doors are flush mounted with 1/16 inch precision clearance.
Cabinet carcasses are 3/4 douglas fir plywood with 2 x 4 reinforcement under counter tops.
